Learn filmmaking
the way I did
If you've been consuming great films and videos but can't figure out why your own work doesn't feel the same — this workshop is for you.
This is a beginner-friendly 3–4 week program — we start from the fundamentals, but we don't stay there. You'll learn storytelling, shooting, editing, and sound as a solo creator, and more importantly, how to make clear decisions at every step. By the end, you won't just understand filmmaking — you'll be creating at a level that actually reflects your taste.
By the end, you'll make your own short film — not as homework, but as proof.

This is for anyone who wants to get into filmmaking but feels stuck at the starting point. Whether you've never shot anything before or you've tried making videos but can't quite figure out what's missing — this will help you understand the fundamentals clearly. The focus is not just on doing things, but on understanding why things work.
No. You can start with whatever you already have. The workshop is designed to help you make the most out of basic tools first — because good filmmaking comes from clarity of thought, not expensive equipment. Gear can always come later.
No — that's not the goal here. I'll break down how I approach storytelling, shooting, and editing, but the idea is for you to take those principles and apply them in your own way. You should leave with your own perspective, not someone else's style.
Technically yes, we will be having a competition at the end of the cohort where 3 people will get their money back as well as some gifts from my side
Over time, I've received a lot of questions about how I make videos — from scripting to editing. Instead of answering individually, I wanted to create something structured where I can properly explain my process and help people who genuinely want to learn. This workshop is an attempt to do that in a simple, practical way.

What You'll Learn

A breakdown of the thinking behind my work — the choices I make in framing, pacing, sound, and storytelling. This section is about understanding intent, not just technique, so you start seeing videos differently.
How to turn ideas into structured stories. We'll cover basic storytelling principles, writing for visuals, building engaging narratives, and making sure your script translates well on screen instead of just sounding good on paper.
Understanding composition, framing, camera movement, and lighting. This is where you learn how to make your shots feel intentional — not random. We'll focus on creating mood and visual consistency using simple, practical techniques.
Editing is where everything comes together. We'll cover cuts, pacing, rhythm, and how to keep the viewer engaged. You'll also learn sound design, use of sound effects, layering audio, and how small details elevate the final video.
Introduction to colour correction and colour grading. We'll go through colour theory, mood creation through colours, and how to achieve a consistent look across your videos without overcomplicating the process.
Practical ways to use AI tools in your workflow without losing the human touch. We'll explore AI for scriptwriting assistance, editing acceleration, sound design, and content ideas — while making sure your creative voice stays intact.
Developing your eye as a creator. Learning how to analyse films and videos, understanding what makes something "feel right," and building your own sense of taste instead of copying others.
This is where you actually create. You'll work on assignments that push you to apply everything you've learned — from scripting to final output — with feedback to help you improve.
Understanding the business side of filmmaking. We'll cover how to position yourself, find clients, pitch your services, price your work, and turn your skills into actual income — whether through freelancing, brand deals, or your own projects.
